In the early morning of July 23, 2017, around 500 people gathered at the Dapitan City Plaza to join #runformarawi, a race dedicated to our soldiers and countrymen in Marawi City.

Proceeds of the race were used for the purchase of goods to be donated to the the people affected and displaced by the conflict in Marawi City and Armed Forces of the Philippines stationed there.

The said race is done in partnership with Petron Corporation, Dapitan City Petron Service Station, Chevy Petron Service Station, Turno Petron Service Station, Polanco Petron Service Station, Chevy Centre, and the Bicycle Association of Dipolog, Inc. (BADI).
