Chevy Centre celebrated its 32nd anniversary on October 2, 2007 with the formal launch of its corporate social responsibility program, Plant the Planet. The whole day affair included a tree planting activity in Barangay Alvenda, Mutia, Zamboanga del Norte. The theme of the activity was: 'We care for our planet: Reduce carbon, plant a tree today.' Many stakeholders came to show their support to the program, like employees, customers, civil servants, public officials, non-government organisations, and volunteers. Everybody got a chance to plant a tree and willingly got their hands dirty.
